Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on this website, the purpose of each category, and how you can accept, reject or adjust your preferences.

Last updated: 9 August 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to function correctly, to remember choices you make, and — where you consent — to measure how the website is used.

2. Essential cookies

These are limited to what is strictly necessary to deliver the service you request: page delivery, security and recording your cookie choice. Under Belgian law they are exempt from consent and cannot be switched off. Recording your choice is stored locally in your browser for up to 6 months, so that you are not asked again on every visit; after that period you are asked again.

3. Functional cookies

Functional cookies would remember preferences such as display settings or previously entered form details. They are not strictly necessary, so they are only placed or read after your prior consent, and never for advertising. Typical retention: up to 12 months.

4. Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies would help us understand, in aggregated form, which pages are consulted and how the website performs. They are not exempt from consent and are only placed or read after your prior consent. No analytics tool is currently active on this website; if one is introduced, this policy will be updated with the provider and retention period before it is used, and your consent will be requested. Envisaged retention: up to 14 months.

5. Managing your consent

No functional or analytics cookies are placed or read before you give consent. When you first visit the website, a banner allows you to Accept, Reject (equally prominent and requiring no more effort than accepting), or open Preferences to consent per category. Consent is active, specific, informed and freely given: nothing is pre-ticked, and refusing has no effect on your use of the website.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the button below or the cookie link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect the functioning of the website.

6. Third parties and further information

This website does not currently use third-party advertising, tracking or social media cookies. If an analytics provider is introduced, it will act as a processor on our instructions and will be named in this policy. Further information on the processing of personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. Questions may be sent to info@yute.be.
